Westpoint Workshops..... What alot we've got planned for you!!

If you would like to take part  in one of the many Workshops running over the course of the show, you can book online by selecting the booking link (where offered).   Or just tu up on the day and book.   If you are having problems booking online or need some advice on the classes, please email workshops@craft4crafters.co.uk with the details of the workshop you would like to attend. Remember to include your name, as well as the title, date and time of the workshop. Any payments should be paid on arrival to the workshop tutor.

If you don't know what day you are attending the show, you can book when you arrive by visiting the workshop registration desk located just inside the doors. Spaces on some workshops are limited so we advise that you book as soon as you arrive, to avoid disappointment.

Transfer Painting

Price: £5

Come and enjoy colouring in a picture with these magical transfer paints, when dry it will be heat transferred on to fabric. You will have time to stitch, embellish a lovely piece of art to make up into a card and take home to finish (card, envelope and wadding included).

Sat: 11 am, 12.30 pm

Using recycled Sari-Silk and a bit of bling you can make a corsage to wear immediately you have completed it. Various colours available. There will also be new animals ‘makes’ of rabbit, Polar Bear, Bee and Octopus along with my favourites such as the Squirrel and Hedgehog. Suitable for beginners. No need to book, if there’s a seat you can start!

Free Make and Take!

Cathie and Mel wil be running free make and takes throughout the course of the show. All of their designs are hand illustrated and their own. They are passionate about showing others how to paint, colour, embroider and embellish to make their creation uniquely their own.

So pop along for a free make and take, they cannot wait to get you painting and Look forward to meeting you!

Fusing Fabrics

In this workshop you will learn how to use a fine tipped soldering iron to cut, fuse and make marks on synthetic fabric, the techniques are easy to learn, straightforward, fun and very creative.

Recycled Floral Corsage with Ailish Henderson

Stand 110 - Workbox

£8 per person 

 Have an exciting hour learning how to trap plastics and other materials inside layers of bondaweb.  You will then iron to melt all your pieces together and create a flat piece of new "fabric".  What to do with your new “magpie-esque” fabric? Instructions will be given out, so that you can cut out floral shapes from a template and hand sew a flower brooch....wear with pride! You will be guided through using a Heat Gun too adding to your skills as you create.  Decorate with beads too if you like! All ages and abilities welcome; all materials provided.

Sew a Felt Dog or Felt Elephent Key Ring

Stand 145 - Amazing Craft

Price: £4.50

 Come and sit down for an hour and sew a cute felt keyring.  Choose from the sweet dog or the regal elephant.  Made from wool felt, the key rings are made using whip stitch and stuffed with polyfibre.  To complete this project, you will need how to sew but don’t need to be an expert!  Suitable for children WHO CAN SEW!  

Only 3 spaces on the workshop. To book please email becky@amazingcraft.co.uk with the the day and time you wish to book with how many people will be in your group and Becky will ge back to you to confirm your space.
