Shepton Mallet 2020's Workshops..... What alot we've got planned for you!!

If you would like to take part  in one of the many Workshops running over the course of the show, you can book online by selecting the booking link (where offered).  Or just turn up on the day and book. 

If you don't know what day you are attending the show, you can book when you arrive by visiting the the stand where the workshop will be taking place. Spaces on some workshops are limited so we advise that you book as soon as you arrive, to avoid disappointment.

Mini Marbling Make & Take Workshop

All Day Drop -In Session

Stand 17A : Marbling4Fun

Cost to attend £5

 

Mini Marbling Make & Take Workshops available on stand. Craig Joubert will be teaching tradition and contemporary Marbling designs printing onto tiles, fabric, wood and paper. All welcome to join for a £5 session lasting designing and printing time.

Marbling kits available at show special price. Introducing new colours and accessories available on stand.

Make your own Macrame Hanging Basket

Running Time: 12:00 pm - 13:00 pm Everyday

Location: G11 Sonia Marcame Crafts

Cost To Attend: £15

Sonia will be hosting workshops which consist of making macrame hanging baskets which you can take gome for use with a plant pot. There are different colour cords to work with. Workshops are £15 and take about a hour.

These workshops will be running everyday (Thursday, Friday and Saturday)

Caravan Coaster Workshop

Come along and create your own unique fabric caravan or campervan coaster to take home and stich. This workshop will run for approximately one hour, In which time you will design your own coaster using one of 4 templates.

Created with Anne's ahnd painted fabrics, You will be using a variety of permanent pens to embellish them. The "kit" includes all the fabrics you need to complete the coaster after stitching it at home.

Anne will also tel you how to create your own painted fabrics for future.

Stained Glass Workshops with Tracey Quinn

Join Tracey and the team and discover the joy of working with glass, choose from a wide selection of glass designs on the day and be guided through each step.  Cleaning, foiling and soldering in a simple “Tiffany” style method to construct your design to take home.

Spring into Easter

Start Time: 12:00 pm Everyday

Location: G4 - Balcony (Gill Burbidge School of Fibre Art).

Cost To Attend: £20

Spring into Easter with a joyfully designed sumptuous, nuno wrap or scarf, using hand dyed lustrous fleece and fibres, cotton scrim.

Design and create under the expert tutelage of Master Nuno Feltmaker Gill Burbidge.  Places limited to 4 daily, in  just one hour, enjoy 'painting' with coloured merino fibres, adding surface design in silk fibres,  fabrics prefelts and more.    Cost to include materials and equipment £20.00. Times: 12noon daily

Come and visit the Craft Business School at Craft4Crafters this year and hear about the reality of starting and running a craft business and the steps you need to take to make that jump successfully.

You may have met me at Craft4Crafters previously, with Sara's Texture Crafts. I am now back to share my knowledge about starting and building a successful craft business.

There will be plenty for you to sink your teeth into, from; workshops to drop-by advice on the stand.

Join Jon from Craftlines, who will be running all day drop-in workshops on Craftlines stand P1. Here you will be able to make a funky Key Ring or Fridge Magnet using the fun method of Pixel Mosaic.

Ideal for all ages and no need to book, just turn up and take a seat!

These workshops are child friendly but will need a guardian or parent present.

Come to the Inion Arts stand to join in this make and take where you will create a beautiful Daffodil. These designs are beautiful and everlasting, with never fading acrylic resin flowers in a variety of stunning vibrant colours.
