Come and meet Dawn
Over the years Dawn Bibby has become a well-known crafting celebrity, making numerous appearances on craft channels, she has a large fan base which spans across the UK and further. Her rise to fame has meant she is regularly seen on the UK exhibition circuit but sadly she never ventured down to Westpoint in Exeter. But that’s about to all change……
We are extremely pleased to confirm that Dawn will attending this year’s show, she will be personally running a wide range of demonstrations each day which will include Cardmaking, flower shaping, fabric painting, no sew appliqué and others. All her demonstrations are free to attend, and booking is not necessary.
For those who do not know Dawn she started out studying textiles and fashion at college and began a career working in a sewing and knitting machine shop! After getting sponsorship from The Prince's Trust, she started her own business designing and knitting mohair jackets. This was quite a niche market and so she moved into painting on to t-shirts and then applied these techniques to cards from this her passion for papercrafting grew. Dawn then became involved with television appearing regularly, in the early years with QVC and then to the Ideal World and Create and Craft TV channel, where she is still seen
In recent years Dawn launched Dawn Bibby Creations whilst at The Craft Channel. In 2018 Dawn then launched a fabric collection,” Dawn Bibby Fabric Creations” and is now working on Dawn Bibby Jewellery Creations.
Dawns motto is 'To inspire, motivate and challenge your crafting!'
