Hilary is one of the UK’s top textile artists and loves working with fabrics and paper. She has work touring the globe with acclaimed international group Crossing Oceans, and regularly exhibits in the UK.
She is also a very popular tutor whose workshops usually sell out within days if not hours! So we are delighted that she will be coming to Westpoint and spending 3 days demonstrating and sharing her techniques and ideas.
Hilary loves using a mix of fabrics and papers to create stitched collages. She will be demonstrating using stencils, Indian wooden print blocks and homer made stamps. Together with fabric paint and dye to create exciting, personal and unique materials.
Hilary also loves to work with commercial fabrics of all sorts and will be demonstrating making small collages using vintage scraps and other fabrics. And she’s bringing lots of gorgeous collage bags of fabrics for you to indulge in
Hilary produces her own bespoke range of textile paints and dyes and designs her own wooden blocks which are then made in India. And she is very excited to be launching her own range of artist designed stencils at Westpoint this year. Theses will all be available to buy on her stand (insert stand no!) at the show.
And she will be bringing lots of her own diverse and unique textile artwork. A must visit stand
