Meet Stephanie Weightman & Her Dream Team!

Highlight Crafts Comes to the Showground

For years, crafters in this part of the country have been saying they feel a bit “off the map” when it comes to big-name craft brands and TV-famous demonstrators. This year, that all changes.

For the very first time, Stephanie Weightman and her company Highlight Crafts are coming to the showground and they’re not coming alone. Stephanie will be joined by her amazing team, Mel Heaton, Amanda Carpenter and David Wait, all together on Stand 66 for three days of live demos, expert tips and hands-on inspiration.

This is a rare chance to see some of the most creative names in the industry in person and it’s absolutely an experience you won’t want to miss.

Who are Highlight Crafts & Stephanie Weightman?

Highlight Crafts is a family-run craft company based in Clay Cross, Chesterfield, founded in 2021 by lifelong crafter Stephanie Weightman and her husband Karl. From their studios in the heart of England, they design and produce beautiful products for papercraft, fabric, mixed media, digital crafting and more, many of which you’ll have seen on TV and live social shopping.

Stephanie is now Creative Director at Highlight Crafts, and you may recognise her from countless TV shows and magazines, where she’s been inspiring crafters for many years with her distinctive, accessible teaching style.

Having the whole Highlight Crafts crew at our show is a big deal and a real treat for local crafters who usually have to travel much further to see them.
