In this introductory workshop, Molly will show you her method of preparing clamshells, that doesn’t use papers. She will show her tricks for cutting and preparing clamshells for hand piecing. She will also show you how to attain accuracy in piecing the clamshells together.

For the workshop fee of £5, you will get the materials to make a mug rug and a detailed handout explaining this method.

As a hand worked project, you will not have time to complete the mug rug in the session but will have all you need to complete it at home after the show. And the confidence to then use clamshells in other, bigger projects.
