Jam Jar Lanterns
Stand G5 - Create a beautiful botanical lantern using real pressed flowers and foliage — a lovely handmade keepsake to light up at home.
With Andrea Oakwood of Wild Impressions, turn an everyday glass jar into a softly illuminated floral lantern. No experience is needed, and all materials and friendly guidance are included.
Make your own botanical lantern
Learn how to arrange and apply delicate pressed flowers and foliage to a glass jar, transforming it into a beautiful illuminated lantern.
Choose from a colourful collection of carefully pressed botanicals to make a design that is completely your own. The flowers look especially lovely when lit from within.
This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop suitable for beginners, with plenty of friendly guidance from Andrea.
What you’ll use

Have a favourite jar? Bring it along.
You're welcome to bring your own glass jar or vessel to decorate — perhaps an unusually shaped jam jar, a vintage glass or something you've been saving for a special project.
Please choose a vessel no larger than a large jam jar, with a glass exterior suitable for decorating. Clear or frosted glass are both fine; just make sure it is clean and dry.
Don't have one? No problem — a glass jar is provided.
