Come and enjoy a little creative time out with Sue from Uniquely Suzie B. Slow stitching is all about enjoying the process — taking your time, experimenting with simple hand stitches and allowing yourself to simply sit, stitch and create.
What You'll Create
Stitch, experiment and enjoy
Using calico as your base, you'll create your own stitched sample using a selection of threads and simple hand-stitching techniques.
Sue will have samples available to give you ideas and inspiration, but there are no rules — the emphasis is on enjoying the process and creating something personal.

Time To Slow Down
A workshop without the pressure
Slow stitching isn't about racing towards a perfect finished piece. It's about taking time to enjoy colour, texture, thread and the simple rhythm of stitching by hand.
It's ideal for complete beginners as well as experienced stitchers who would simply enjoy a peaceful creative break during their visit to the show.
Switch off for a little while, enjoy the stitches and simply take time to make.
Kits will also be available if you'd like to carry on slow stitching when you get home.
