Remembering Terry Jordan: A Much Loved Part of Craft4Crafters

A tribute to Terry Jordan (Manteaux)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that Terry Jordan has passed away. For more than two decades, Terry exhibited at Craft4Crafters at Westpoint in Exeter, and over that time he became a familiar, much-loved presence, not only to us as organisers, but to the many visitors who made a point of returning year after year to see him. His stand was a tradition for so many: a friendly greeting, a bit of banter, and coats made with real pride and craftsmanship.

Terry will be greatly missed. Those who knew him remember his decency, his humour, and the hardworking spirit he brought to everything he did. While the space he leaves cannot be filled, the memories and the impact he had on our show community, will remain.

This year, Terry’s stand will be at the show with his wife Mandy continuing Manteaux in his memory, showcasing traditional tailored women’s coats and jackets made in the UK, crafted with Harris Tweed and Abraham Moon fabrics, timeless pieces designed to last a lifetime.

If Terry was part of your Craft4Crafters tradition, we know you’ll join us in remembering him this year
