Special Guests Take Centre Stage

A closer look at some of this year’s star guests — who they are, what they’re known for, and what you can look forward to from them at the show, from live demos and new launches to expert tips and inspiration you can take home.

Andrea Oakwood (Wild Impressions)

  • Botanical artist and ecologist Andrea combines real field knowledge with a deep love of wild places. With an MSc in Conservation Biology (UCL), she creates nature-inspired work from her home studio, inviting you to slow down and reconnect with the natural world.

BeeBee & Leaf

  • BeeBee & Leaf (as seen on Dragons’ Den) will be at Westpoint with their popular range of reusable food wraps, a stylish, eco-friendly alternative to clingfilm and single-use plastic. You’ll be able to shop their beeswax wraps and vegan wax wraps, plus practical extras like sandwich wraps/bags, bread bags/wraps, and their wrap refresher (“rewax”) products to help extend the life of your wraps.

Ada Brown Designs

  • AdaBrown Designs (run by Lucy) creates modern, nature-inspired hand embroidery using colourful linen and 4-ply cotton yarn, inspired by the heirloom stitching of her great-grandmother, Ada Brown. She designs embroidery kits, wall art and soft furnishings that are beautiful, tactile and made to last in everyday life. Visit her stand to discover her easy-to-follow kits, perfect for beginners and anyone wanting a relaxing, stress-free creative project with a stylish modern finish.

Holly Berkley Jewellery

  • Holly Berkley Jewellery is a Somerset-based wirework artist featured in Vogue, creating vibrant, nature-inspired jewellery, bridal hair pieces and striking wire bonsai trees. Visit her stand to browse her handmade work, discover her wirework kits, and shop a unique selection of vintage and antique craft supplies.

Furzie

  • Furzie creates wonderfully characterful needle-felted animal sculptures, made by shaping wool fibres with barbed needles to build firm, lifelike 3D forms. Felting since 2014, they now sell worldwide and take commissions to recreate real pets and animals, using quality fibres (often locally sourced) for beautifully detailed results. Visit their stand to see these charming creations up close, learn how needle felting works, and get inspired to try this addictive craft for yourself.

Imperfectly Perfect by Fauve & Asmaa

  • Sewing classes with Imperfectly Perfect are all about enjoying the process in a warm, supportive setting, whatever your skill level. You’ll be encouraged to experiment with fabrics, patterns and techniques at your own pace, with friendly guidance and plenty of encouragement along the way. It’s a fun, confidence-boosting experience that leaves you proud of what you’ve made and excited for your next project.

Felt Sew Somerset

  • Founded by textile artist Tracey Bartlett, Felt Sew Somerset offers a beautiful range of felting-inspired textiles, including yarn, felting kits, unique handmade felt items, gifts and workshops. With over 20 years’ experience, Tracey’s work celebrates the artistry of felting and is perfect for anyone looking for quality materials and creative inspiration.

Alison Whateley Designs

  • Alison Whateley is a Devon-based textile and mixed media artist, best known for her richly layered coastal and landscape pieces inspired by the natural world.
Her signature style blends stitching, texture and reclaimed fabrics to capture light, movement and atmosphere in cloth.
A popular tutor and demonstrator (and a familiar face from Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2024), Alison shares practical techniques that crafters can use straight away.

Dawn Gill Designs

  • Dawn Gill Designs creates “perfectly imperfect” handcrafted sterling silver jewellery, alongside her much-loved crochet/knitting “toollery” for yarn enthusiasts. She’s best known for clever, beautifully made gadgets like her adjustable HookerRing tension guide, plus bodkins and snag-free stitch markers that make crafting smoother. Expect sustainable, practical favourites — and the kind of expert advice that comes from a maker who genuinely understands how we craft.

Janna Turner

  • Janna Turner is a Somerset-based fibre artist and felter behind the family-run Flock2Felt/Flock2Felts, transforming fleece from their local sheep into tactile felted work by managing the full process from shearing and fibre prep through to wet-felted finished pieces. She’s known for her wet felting and fibre preparation expertise, as well as creating 3D forms with strong surface detail and texture. She also teaches and delivers demos, running relaxed local classes. Her large-scale credentials include serving as project lead and felting advisor for the “Alice in Wonderwool” felt and her flocks to flight piece.

Rosy Tydeman

  • La Vie En Rose Makery was founded and is run by Rosy Tydeman, who runs a studio in Exeter, Devon, creating original artwork themed around love and joy alongside a programme of hands-on textile workshops. With 40+ years as a textile maker and a background that includes working as a shoe-maker, glove-maker, teacher and art café owner, her expertise centres on textile craft techniques—especially embroidery/slow stitching and felt-making/needlefelting, often using an embellisher machine and combining felt with hand and machine embroidery for richly textured pieces.
