Weston Quilters: Stitching, Sharing and Supporting

Returning once again with handmade treasures, friendly faces and their ever-popular Lucky Dip.

Weston Quilters have been part of the Craft4Crafters Autumn show for around 18 years, possibly even longer, making them one of our wonderfully familiar returning groups. Established for more than 25 years, they continue to enjoy an enthusiastic membership, meeting monthly for a varied programme of guest speakers, project evenings and plenty of opportunities to share ideas and enjoy quilting together.

Each year, the group also chooses a charity to support, with a particular focus on causes close to home. For 2026, they are raising funds for Avalon Camps, which provides children from Bristol with the opportunity to enjoy a week in the countryside and experience activities they may not otherwise have the chance to try.

Make sure you stop by the Weston Quilters stand at this year’s show. Browse the lovely selection of handmade items created by members, have a go on their popular Lucky Dip and help support this year’s chosen charity. Whether you’ve visited them many times before or are discovering the group for the first time, they’ll be very pleased to welcome you.
