Alison Hulme, Design Led Textile Artist
Textile Art with Heart, Humour, and a Splash of Colour!
We’re excited to welcome Alison Hulme, a Hampshire textile artist whose work is driven by bold, design-led ideas and a constant stream of “lightbulb” moments. Since completing her Foundation Degree in Stitched Textiles (2013), Alison has exhibited at shows and galleries across the UK, sharing her infectious enthusiasm for making through lively talks and workshops.

Now working from her own studio, Alison also hosts group workshops in her creative space, an environment built for playful experimenting and trying new techniques on fabric. That same spirit animates her stand at the show: colour, pattern, and process coming together in contemporary stitched textiles that feel fresh & Joyful.
Alison is a proud member of the ZeroNine textile collective (formed from her City & Guilds classmates), and that sense of community runs through everything she does. Come say hello: discover new ideas, leave inspired, and find something you’ll love to make or take home.
You can meet Alison every day at the show, drop by to handle pieces, chat through her design process, and pick up confidence-boosting tips you can take straight into your next project.
