Meet Sarah Patterson of Sewing-Sanctuary

Sewing, Beautiful Fabrics and Creative Inspiration

We’re pleased to be welcoming Sarah Patterson, founder of Sewing-Sanctuary, whose love of sewing began in childhood and was inspired by her incredibly talented mum.

That early passion has grown into a creative business built around beautiful fabrics, thoughtful design and the enjoyment of making something by hand. From bags and clothing to toys and keepsake pieces, Sarah’s work is all about creating items that are both practical and made to be treasured.

Sarah carefully selects a wide range of quality fabrics, including South Korean cottons, designer prints, timeless plains and vintage finds, alongside trusted tools and sewing accessories to help makers get the best from their projects.

Visitors looking for something more personal can also speak to Sarah about bespoke pieces, choosing a favourite pattern and fabric to create something completely unique.

Teaching is a big part of Sewing-Sanctuary too. Sarah welcomes everyone from complete beginners through to more experienced makers, helping people build their skills in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Visit Sarah at the show to:
